We’re thrilled to announce that LobStar, the tall tale of a truly New England superhero, will be launching on Kickstarter November 4, 2025!
LobStar follows Matthew Murphy, a humble Downeast lobsterman who performs a selfless act — and finds himself chosen as the mortal champion of the Lord of Lobsters. Suddenly gifted with strange new powers, Matt must leave his old life behind and face a mission that could change his world forever.
It’s anti-capitalism Captain America — if he were from rural Maine and powered by a Lobster God. Think Lovecraft meets Stephen King by way of Hellboy and Swamp Thing.
The Kickstarter campaign will bring the first 28-page chapter of the story to life, with stretch goals to expand into Chapter 2 for a total of 50 pages.
